Sri Daya Mata Joins SRF
In 1931, with her mother’s blessing, Daya Mata moved to Los Angeles and joined Self Realization Fellowship. She took the final vow of sannyas in 1932, becoming one of the first nuns of the Self-Realization Fellowship order. Her mother, sister (Ananda Mata) and two brothers later became members of SRF as well.
