Meditation:
The Spiritual Foundation of our Lives

Excerpts from a talk at 2005 Convocation by Brother Vishwananda

The purpose of life is to find God.

Your spiritual search has to become a way of life.

Every meditation should be a holy pilgrimage. You should place yourself in that consciousness before you meditate. Otherwise it can become just a routine. Remember that you have worked for lifetimes to have that opportunity.

Follow these points:

1. Sit up straight.

2. Be Intense, but not Tense.

3. Be STILL. Try to withdraw the consciousness away from the senses into the mind where God can be experienced.

4. Get into the right state of consciousness before you begin. If there are things on your mind, leave them outside before you meditate.

5. SIT STILL afterwards and enjoy the peace.

Always meditate with

Love
Devotion
Attention
